Help others find their way by being part of our Peer Supporter Program. Learn how to run peer support sessions, create your unique community identity, and make your own impact.

Peer support is a non-clinical role that offers emotional support and referral to a professional if needed. They are not qualified to diagnose, or offer medical advice.

Co-hosted Brunei’s first-ever Youth Mental Health Policy Lab in partnership with Orygen, bringing together government and private sector stakeholders to shape evidence-informed mental health policy

People have recieved peer support through JIWA in Brunei. Over the years our surveys found that 85% of those did not need professional help and sufficient with peer support further proving the effectiveness and necessity of peer support as bridges to clinical care rather than an alternative.

JIWA aims to solidify the peer support system by training youths in all Brunei districts increasing accessibility to mental health support!
